Brought a new pup home last week. He's the first lab I've had in several years since my last lab died from a snake bite. I got him a little later than I would have liked (11 weeks), but he's adjusted very well, and he's picking up on his lesson quickly too. Already loves the water, fetching his dummy, especially the one covered in feathers, and making the boss happy. Looks like he's going to be a healthy size fella when he grows up. He 25 pounds when we went to get his last shot/checkup, and he's all legs.

Cool looking dog. Should be a good hunting companion.

We had a blonde lab like that many years back and she was a retrieving freak.
